Australia first fell in love with Reggie Bird in 2003, when she became the third person in Australia to win Big Brother. The whole country knew Reggie’s name. They knew she was married, ran a fish and chip shop in Tasmania, and wore her heart on her sleeve. And that’s why we loved her.

But a lot has changed in Reggie’s life since 2003. And she’s continued to walk an unexpectedly fine line between public and private life over the past two decades...She’s been so famous she couldn’t work, then she’s HAD to work after getting scammed out of $40,000. She’s been an air hostess, a mum, lost her eyesight, gotten divorced, and now she’s chosen to go BACK on Big Brother. She joins Mia to talk about it all...

Who Is Anthony Albanese?

Australia has woken up to a new Prime Minister: Anthony Albanese. So who is he? What's his story? At the end of 2021, Anthony Albanese sat down with Mia Freedman for this episode of No Filter. So we thought we'd pop it back in your feed so you could get to know our new PM...

As a teen, Anthony Albanese sat down with his mother for dinner. It was just the two of them, as it always had been. Albanese’s father had died in a car crash before he was born. Or at least, that’s what he thought until that dinner. His mother told him his father was most likely alive and living in Italy...

In this episode of No Filter, Anthony Albanese joins Mia to talk about his very unique childhood and the surprising way his search for his father turned out.

THE END BITS:

With thanks to Anthony Albanese

What Really Happened To Melissa Caddick?

Want more with Kate? Find her extra No Filter episode here.

When Melissa Caddick went missing in November 2020, Kate McClymont knew that there was more to the story than what was being reported. Kate, the Chief Investigative Reporter at the Sydney Morning Herald, has spent her career breaking news about fraud, corruption, and more. So what looked like a fairly standard missing person’s case to the average person, looked like a lot more to Kate McClymont.

And when a human foot washed up on a South Coast beach months later? A whole other line of investigation opened into what actually happened to Melissa Caddick.

Kate is a co-host of a podcast called Liar Liar that’s all about this case, and in her signature forensic style, she’s uncovered a bunch of disturbing, astonishing information about the life and disappearance of a wealthy woman who wasn’t at all what she seemed.

THE END BITS:

With thanks to Kate McClymont
