"The holidays: a crash course in picking your battles, and practicing your coping skills. Good luck!"
Episode 3
Ho-effing-ho, fellow misfits! This week, we're discussing how to survive the holidays -- especially when your holiday turns out differently than the trademark Hallmark card. This time of year is full of all the different scenarios to drive us all clinically crazy: massive expenses, in-laws and family that know how to press our buttons, loved ones who we wish were there to celebrate with us... Let's talk about how we can get through the bad, and revel in the goodness that's ripe in December.
This week's Q&A: our bank teller sends us a follow up question; we help her sort out the pickle she's gotten herself into with her boss. And, we help a "punching bag" punch back against his irate mother-in-law.

2: Forgiveness
"Forgiving someone for their transgressions does not absolve them, it releases you from the hold that the pain has over you."
Episode 2
Here is where we talk about forgiveness and apologies. Neither are easy, but neither is carrying around pain and resentment or guilt and shame. Forgive and accept apologies, not for them, but for you.
This week's Q&A: we give a bank teller some coping tools to deal with her jerk boss, and we also help a dude see where he could be sabotaging his romantic relationships with the dreaded self-fulfilling prophecy.

Minisode: Just a Little Note if You're Struggling on Christmas
A little change for this week's show. We weren't going to do one this week because blinky-lights... But alas, Christmas is here, and people are freaking the eff out. Including me, just a little bit. So I wanted to get out some quick thoughts in a bonus episode to you before diving head-first into the war zone -- I mean, festivities! No questions today. We'll get back to our normal routine next week. Promise! Sorry about the quality on this one. I recorded it on my iPhone instead of going all the way to the recording studio. I hope my awesome, totally amazing, and spectacular producer doesn't mind! ... [I'll allow it this one time... -_- ]
Keep strong, my misfits! It all gets easier, and it all gets better. I appreciate you!
