In this mini episode, John answers a question from a listener:
Hey John, I’m a big fan of the podcast and need some help with a job offer I received from outside of the United States. On the initial HR interview they asked me for a fixed number and I’m sure I undersold myself. This is for a position in a lower paying country in Europe and I’m in the US and honestly have zero idea of what is considered “high” there for legal/compliance roles. I gave a number way lower than what I make now even though it’s a promotion. Afterwards they said “that’s middle of the range.” How can I go back up once I have the offer?
