I Was Cancelled
10/22/24 • 56 min
I can't talk about "My Life Online" without discussing one of the biggest things to happen to me online: I was cancelled. In June 2020, I faced a lot of backlash after announcing I became a co-owner of my skincare brand Naturium. And rather than trying to explain everything, I decided to just focus on building my brand and have never publicly talked about what happened. So today, for the first time ever, I'm sharing some much needed context surrounding the "Susan Yara Naturium drama." Because I felt like I needed a little support to share the story, I brought in Kirbie Johnson for this episode. She's a beauty reporter, co-host of the Gloss Angeles podcast, and a longtime friend of mine.
