Welcome back to Movies that Make Us. Today, we are going back to 1985 and discussing the classic film The Breakfast Club.
It’s a teenage coming-of-age film directed by John Hughes starring Emilio Estevez, Paul Gleason, Anthony Michael Hall, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald, and Ally Sheedy. It’s set on one Saturday where five high school students from different cliques come together to serve detention and throughout the day, bond together in unexpected ways.
What are your thoughts on the film? We all feel the film was a little bit before our times with Tracy being 10-11 when it was released. What are your thoughts on the film? We want to hear back from you!
