16,000 feet below the ocean's surface, geologist Peter Weller is the court appointed captain of a ragtag group of precious metal miners. After Daniel Stern uncovers a safe inside of a nearby ship wreck, all hell breaks loose as a vodka-borne bio experiment starts infecting the crew, turning them into hideously deformed mutant fish monsters. Premiering the same year as James Cameron's The Abyss, this flick was unfortunately very poorly received as just some ripoff of Alien and The Thing underwater. Tony from @HackTheMovies joins us to reclaim this sunken treasure and bring this star-studded special effects feast to the surface!
