I’m so glad I’m 8 years in to be honest, because the amount of stuff that I didn’t know is horrible to think about. It’s almost like a load of socks get thrown in to a washing machine, and there’s loads of them and you get tumbled around and somehow you just come out the other side and everyone else has gotten lost in there, your moment of luck to get through that early part of it when you don’t really have a fan base yet all you have is maybe three of four songs and maybe just manager to get one of those to see you through to the next bit, and I realise now how much luck that part takes."
