Ep.35 💥Miracle And Learning: Vania Valtriani's Near-Death, Life-changing Experience

Money is Not Your Problem

In this episode, our guest, Vania Valtriani, shares her incredible journey of overcoming a life-threatening health crisis and how it transformed her outlook on life, faith, and finances. Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, Vania moved to the United States with her family in search of better opportunities. What started as a typical immigrant story quickly took a dramatic turn when she suffered a hemorrhagic stroke that left her in a coma for several months. Her story is one of faith, resilience, and the miraculous power of healing, deeply rooted in her spiritual beliefs and the unwavering support of her family.

Vania recounts the moment when doctors gave her husband and children the grim news that she had no chance of survival. However, her family's faith never wavered, and through their prayers and a blessing given by her husband, Vania experienced what she describes as a miracle. She vividly recalls a spiritual encounter during her coma, where she communicated with her deceased father and felt the overwhelming love of Jesus Christ, which she credits with her recovery. This life-altering experience not only changed her perspective on life and death but also solidified her mission to share her story with the world, leading her to write a book and create a YouTube channel to inspire others.

While most of us may not have such profound faith experiences, Vania’s story reminds us that if we pay attention, we can recognize confirmations of God’s guidance, assurance, and strength in our lives. Her journey also touches on the financial challenges she faced post-recovery, including a staggering hospital bill that was miraculously reduced, allowing her to focus on her new mission rather than financial burdens. Vania shares practical advice on handling finances, emphasizing the importance of saving, even in small amounts, and trusting in divine provision. Her story is a testament to the power of faith, the importance of family, and the belief that even in the darkest times, miracles are possible.

In this episode, Vania teaches us about the strength that comes from faith, the importance of family support during life’s trials, and how even the smallest acts of financial prudence can make a significant difference. Her story serves as a powerful reminder that, through faith and perseverance, we can navigate the challenges in our lives and find the guidance and strength we need to move forward.

Ep.34 Powerful Tools for Family Finances BYU Women's Conference 2024

This episode is a special recap of my presentation at the BYU Women’s Conference in May 2024. I'm excited to share my journey and the valuable financial principles that have transformed my family’s financial health.

During my talk at the conference, I highlighted the importance of setting your financial house in order, drawing inspiration from both scripture and modern-day prophets. I emphasized that understanding and learning financial principles is crucial for making better financial decisions. I shared personal anecdotes from my own experiences growing up in Brazil and the financial mistakes I made early on, stressing the need for financial literacy and responsible money management.

I outlined four key principles that can change your financial course:

  1. Principle 1: Understand and Learn Financial Principles: Observe, learn, and teach money management within your family.
  2. Principle 2: Teach Our Families: Engage your kids in financial discussions, teach them to earn, save, give, and spend wisely.
  3. Principle 3: Achieve Debt Freedom: Embrace a debt-free lifestyle to gain financial freedom.
  4. Principle 4: Experience Temporal and Spiritual Blessings: By practicing consistent small efforts, you can harness the power of compound interest and enjoy financial and spiritual rewards.

By embracing these principles, you can reduce anxiety, increase spiritual receptivity, and gain the freedom to choose how to use your resources. I concluded with encouraging words, reminding everyone that small, consistent efforts can lead to significant financial blessings, allowing us to serve others and build a secure financial future.
