Grant Cardone: Granting Luxury

In today’s episode I had the pleasure of being joined by Grant Cardone. Grant is a bestselling author, sales trainer, speaker, and entrepreneur who has worked in real estate and the auto industry. He is also a real estate mogul who built his $1.9 Billion portfolio of multifamily properties from scratch.

He’s currently focusing on a huge project with his new company, 10x Incubator, with the goal of creating and funding 10,000 companies over the next 10 years.

When he was growing up, he was just looking for comfort because the concept of luxury was never presented to him.

He only started defining luxury for himself a few years ago. His definition of luxury is now experiences he’s had with the people he loves. And these experiences always center around a place.

He loves taking his family on luxury retreats which might seem over the top, but here’s what he has to say:

“Giant swimming pools, entire villas.....they’re completely uncecessary and none of it makes sense. But poverty doesn’t make sense. Getting by doesn’t make sense. Stopping short of luxury doesn’t make sense.”
