Episode 384 - Getting catfished for a job & the courage to be creative w/ Matt Baker
We’re back again for another episode of Mind Gap Podcast! This week, Doug and Justin are joined by the very kind, creative, and funny Matt Baker (https://mattspassions.com/)! Matt talks about moving around the country before finding his home in Portland with his family, getting catfished for a job, plus Doug & Matt share some of their favorite stories from working together and making meaningful connections with people at weird jobs. The dorks then talk about Matt’s creative projects like his short film Jill’s Bike and his movie adaptation podcast, Film Wormz. This leads the nerds to talk about having courage to create things, why people put failure on a pedestal, and whether or not there is such a thing as a guilty pleasure.
Things are wrapped up with an Ask Practical Doug with an AITA question from Reddit about a wife being upset with her husband’s answer to a hypothetical question.
