Mindfulness affirmations, gratitude for others. It's easy to feel alone and unseen. Too many days are filled with sadness and frustration. Yet we are not alone. Nor are alone in this feeling of helplessness. The truth is, we have led ourselves here to where we are today, right now. We must remember that others have also guided our experiences. Some we have decided to bring with us and others we have lost along the way.

And yet we are still here today. We came into this world as a miracle and as a survivor.

Along the way, we have shared memories both good and bad. with family, mentors, friends, strangers and even enemies.

A small act of kindness, a compliment and even criticism have each impacted our lives. Each act playing a role in our next decision. We have never been alone. And we are not alone right now.

Mindfulness affirmations will guide us to recognize and be thankful that we are indeed supported and cared for. The following exercise of speaking affirmations will enable us to express our gratitude freely for others. Sit comfortably in a quiet place. sit tall and feel your body relax. Close your eyes and breathe in and out through your nose. Bring the image and energy of those in your mind who have supported you.

When we are more mindful and appreciative of others, we can begin to feel less alone. We begin to understand our role in each interaction and relationship. We will become more grateful and we will become kinder. We become the person we want to be. We are never alone.
