Medicine Mother

Medicine Mother

Kate Caddle

Welcome to Medicine Mother. Hosted by Life Coach, Yoga Teacher and Mother, turned Creative, Kate Caddle.
In this podcast I uncover the profound wisdom embedded in the stories of women.
The medicine the world seeks lies within the voices and journeys of mothers—voices of intention, informed by lineage, and laced in deep-seated wisdom.
This podcast shines a light on mothers stories from conception, birthing, matrescence and well beyond, in an effort to help us and in turn, the planet, to reconnect to the innate wisdom within us all and regain the lost connection to soulful purpose.
So, settle in and join me as we rediscover our innate wisdom and lovingly enjoy the stories of one another.
Welcome, to Medicine Mother.

For my little family, the 2024 energetics have been so different to 2023, the themes of this year have been slowness, sacrifice, devotion, joy and replenishment. Where we are now I feel so much more held that I have in the previous years. It feels internal and also external. Exploring where home is, as an idea feels interesting right now.
In this episode I bring you up to date from where we left off in Episode 95.
A more flowing and magical year that has tied up loose ends and offered a-new.
I mention a few sweet humans and businesses across this life update, I’ve included them and their links below.
Thank you for being here for opening week, it’s been a hoot! If there is something you’d love to ask me, or something you’d love more on, come over to social media.
I’ll be sharing episodes weekly now on a Wednesday morning AEDT.
The best way to be notified is by subscribing to the podcast on your favourite platform and also subscribing to Substack where I share these deeper dives on the content delivered right to your internet-mail-box.

Medicine Mother - Astrology for an Aligned Life with Kristy Gray
play

04/11/23 • 64 min

If you’ve ever felt completely overwhelmed by the world of astrology, you’re not alone.
In this episode I bring it back to basics with my incredibly knowledgeable and very cool friend Kristy Gray.
Kristy is an Astrologer and Life Strategist from the Gold Coast. Her career started in Learning and Development in the beauty industry, working for the likes of Clinique and global beauty giant Sephora. A passion for developing people and brands blossomed into a 10-year career, but Kristy was perpetually curious about astrology - she was ‘that girl’ in the office who was always asking everyone for their star signs.
In 2018, she found herself sitting in front of an award- winning Astrologer who became her mentor, and instantly fell in love with the stars and how they can help you understand more about yourself to make conscious decisions. Five years on, Kristy has become one of Australia’s leading Astrologers. Through her signature formula, Astrostrategy®, Kristy combines mystical insights with practical tools to dismantle the uncertainty that’s been holding you back. When she’s not stargazing, you’ll find her at the beach, fantasy novel and green juice in hand.

In this episode Kristy walks us through the foundation of our own charts when it comes to living full expressed and aligned as individuals. With her empowering approach Kristy shows us how to navigate the world of astrology with our internal filter switched on.
We explore ...

+ Sun, moon and ascendent and how understanding them will give us an even deeper insight into who we are and what to celebrate within ourselves
+ A brief look at the planets and houses
+ Whether you have a daytime or nighttime chart and how that can inform the best way that you operate in the world (this is super easy to grasp!)
+ Your North and South Nodes and how to use these to help you live more aligned and fulfilled
Plus so much more!
At the top of the conversation Kristy guides us to pull up our own natal charts, follow the link below to do that for free, and if possible have on hand while you’re listening.

In this solo episode of the Awakened Pregnancy Podcast I share the concept of Aquarian exchange and how it invites us to be energetically responsible for our consumption of content.

I recently discovered this concept and the intention behind it, and it immediately felt like an incredible way to honour our own energy, and respect the energy of others in the process.

Join me as I unpack my thoughts and understanding of Aquarian pricing and what the future could look like if we were to embrace it.

In this week's episode I speak with Chrissy Roil. Chrissy is a Life Design Coach, working through the lens of Human Design.

I absolutely loved having this conversation with Chrissy, she is a dear friend of mine, and it truly is a treat to be sharing her with you today.

In this episode we talk about...

  • What human design is
  • How Chrissy got into teaching human design, and how it’s impacted her own life
  • The unique way your intuition communicates with you, and how to access it
  • Why ‘gut instincts’ aren’t for everyone
  • The different energy types and their wonderful gifts
  • Why you might like to get a HD reading vs navigating understanding human design on your own

Alex first dropped into my orbit about 12 months ago when I worked with her in a one off session, as her coach, during her second pregnancy. Naturally I followed her journey through pregnancy and into motherhood with baby number two, and so beautifully we have landed side by side in the same coaching program with my beloved coach Ellie Swift.
I’ve wanted to have Alex on the show for months now but saw the space to honour her energy and that I knew she would have so much to share on this side of birth number two. And of course, what divine timing.
Alex is a sensual wealth coach who guides women to connect to their sensuality and unlock limitless exponentiality. Originally from Chicago and an entrepreneur at heart, she left her 'on-paper perfect' corporate fashion merchandising career and moved to Australia in 2018.

Fast forward to 2022 – together with her husband & their two daughters on her hip – Alex has built a million dollar soulful product business in under 3 years. Alex has also coached hundreds of entrepreneurs across the globe to build ecommerce businesses, which led her to explore how the mind, body & spirit interact in business and the creation of wealth.

Unraveling the connection between her sensuality, motherhood, and wealth has by far been the biggest needle mover in her own business and most importantly, in the lives of her clients. Her mission is to guide women and mothers everywhere to tap into their sensuality & alchemise the abundant lives of their dreams.

In today’s episode we cover...
+ What each of Alex’s first trimester experiences were like, and how she prepared the second time around. Including how she lent fully into being held and supported as priority.+ What each of Alex’s birth experiences looked like, and why she chose a new care provider at 40 weeks pregnant.
+ How she is feeling as she comes out of the fourth trimester, and where her focus and intention is and how this clarity is serving her to feel embodied at this time
+ What Alex learned about herself through the sacred container of birth and how that has more deeply informed her work in the world and her commitment to helping women remember their power
+ Why Alex believes we can have it all and how understanding our sacral chakra energy underpins our ability to do this
+ Why separating the ‘having’ from the ‘doing’ is essential for living an embodied and abundant life
Plus LOADS more.
This conversation was such a joy to experience, and I know that you will feel that through every moment.

Kelle Howard is an interior designer, creative director, stylist, speaker and mentor that somehow still has time for daily meditation. She has consciously created a business and life she once dreamed of, including a six-figure interior design empire; a large and loyal social media following; Bajo el Sol, her globally recognised home; a series of brand partnerships and collaborations; a digital course, Behind The Brand; and a 12-week Soul-Led Mastermind. Just to name a few. Kelle is guided by intuition and feeling, infusing her relaxed personality and coastal, luxe style into each and every project. I met Kelle for the first time in person a few years back in an airport and it truly seems like a lifetime ago. It’s incredible how quickly things can shift when we drop into alignment, which has absolutely been the case for both of us.
Over the past few years Kelle has returned to her Interior Design work after putting it on hold while she had babies, and if you follow her online you will know she has landed back in her zone with a bang!
In this episode we talk about...
+ How Kelle came to work as an interior designer
+ How her multi passionate soul is continuously offering her new ways of doing life, and how she embraces it
+ How Kelle nurtures herself amongst work and motherhood
+ What she has learned about herself over the past 9 years, and how that is reflected back to her through her work
+ Why she likes to involve her children in her business, and how she does this
+ Why Kelle doesn’t like to share much about her challenges publicly
+ Kelle’s thoughts on starting a business and following your passion after having children
+ What growth has looked like for Kelle, and her tips for staying in your own lane
+ How and why we need to make our home a sanctuary
+ How what you feel right now is influencing your future
And so much more!
I loved this conversation, and the opportunity to go a little deeper into Kelle’s journey. Even though we have known each other for many years now, there is something special about truly taking the time to hear your friends' stories. What privilege to have her with us on the show.

A LOT has happened in my world since we were last connected, as I'm certain has been the case for you too. It feels natural to share the momentous moments of the last 18 months (give or take) since I was generously sharing with you. A reintroduction to the familiar ears and a big 'hello, this is me' if you've just found my work.
Any great change in life comes with many growing pains, big learnings and of course letting go of a whole lot, all of which were the medicine of 2023.
In this episode I fill in the gaps from when I was last here up until Nov/Dec 2023. From moving interstate, to purchasing an online business that later became a retail store, to moving house and our life in Byron, I share it all here.
Laced with sweet lessons and bountiful gifts, 2023 was *monumental* in forging a new path for myself and my family.
Be sure to stop back tomorrow (if you're listening in real time) for part two episode 96 where I bring you right up to now.
To add a deeper layer and for the video montage of this episode, come on over to Substack (a blog like platform for writers) where I give you a deeper look into life.
