Emily Sisson, age 31, is an American distance runner who holds the American record in the marathon set at the 2022 Chicago Marathon where she ran 2:18:29. That’s a 5:17 per mile (3:17 km) pace. She also owns the American record in the half marathon (breaking her own record) set this year at the Houston Half Marathon with a time of 1:06:52. She represented the USA in the 10,000 meters at the Tokyo Olympic Games. She runs for New Balance in Flagstaff, Arizona.
