We also speak to him about his role in Russell T. Davies' 'It's A Sin', how important it is to have that discussion of HIV on TV right now, and why it was made now and not twenty years ago, as well as having a chat about some of the great things about Manchester!

In this week's episode of Manchester: Queer and Now we are in conversation with Martin and Jacqui from Manchester Frontrunners.
We speak with them about the LGBTQ+ running club and why they joined and what they think makes Manchester Frontrunners so wonderful. We also discuss how LGBTQ+ sports clubs can engage with the community, and how we could begin to remove barriers to sport, and get people into running, possibly using couch to 5km courses and parkruns, before finishing on the creative ways the club has worked to engage with members through lockdown.
