Malice and Mocktails
Happy Malice Monday, mockstars! My ladies, Courtney and Michelle, over at In the Nick of Crime came up with Malice Mondays and we love it! On this episode Emily and I talk about the failed kidnapping and tragic murder of Adolph Coors, III. In February 1960, Adolph makes his way to the Coors Brewery and stops to be a good Samaritan to a fellow driver when he is ambushed and things take a tragic turn. Our podcast of the week is Crime Scenes and Cupcakes hosted by MaryAnne! Check out her trailer at the beginning of the episode, and add her podcast to your playlist if you want more true crime in your life. Our mocktail this week is a keto and instantpot friendly root beer recipe. I love root beer...Emily, however, does not, but I rolled with it anyway. You can also make this in a slow cooker. The book this recipe comes from is called Keto Instant Pot by Maria Emmerich. Happy Halloween, mockstars! Join Emily and me this week as we talk about Samhain traditions and Irish lore. We had some audio challenges, mainly on my end, so there may be some slight echoes in the recording. I hope it does not distract from the episode.

Hello mockstars! Buckle up because this week Emily tells me all about Peter Kurten. This episode has ALL the trigger warnings - rape, torture, animal cruelty, strangulation, arson, and much more. This dude was a piece of work and an absolute monster. Please be warned...This one is also longer than normal, and in hindsight perhaps it should have been two parts. Let us know what you prefer for future episodes.
