Making Good: Small Business Podcast

// FREE DOWNLOAD: Free workbook + guide to writing a values statement for your business. This is 17-pages of GOOD content, and includes some fun bonus content like my top 10 favorite ways that small businesses can do good, and 6 writing rules of thumb for effective business writing. Download here!
Today's episode is all about finding community -- something that has made a huge difference to me as I navigate the wild world of small business.
I provide 5 strategies for finding community -- 4 of which you can start on TODAY (and save one for when in-person community is safe and possible again).
The five strategies we discuss in this episode are:

  1. Facebook groups
  2. Social media (specifically Instagram)
  3. In-person events (when it's safe!)
  4. Friends of friends
  5. Courses, memberships or other paid programs with an online community element

Links and resources mentioned:

Learn about my businesses: Good Sheila (plant-inspired stationery) and Station 7 (retail shop online + brick-and-mortar in Seattle).
