Episode Two Hundred Fifty-Five: Taken to Ransom Part Two
Is this going to be better or more exciting than the other part? No, not really. I’m just laying it all out there that we totally didn’t know what we were getting into and that’s why it’s so disappointing now that we’re on the other side. This is probably even the same author from the first part revisiting his same story/ARG years later and trying to blow it all back up to get things going again. This is funny, though. This is a funny episode. I do stand by that because I do think we find a way to make this material more interesting and easy to listen to despite how poorly written it is. Yeah, I’m being an armchair critic, and WhereAmI? Is adding gas to the fire like he does; But after doing this for 7-8 years, you learn a thing or two. And one of those THANGS is when a bad story is bad.

How do YOU feel about fossils, folks? I feel pretty good about them, myself. They’re bones, I’m bones, so we’re all bones. I get that. I feel good about that, like I said. I also feel pretty good about the stories we read on this episode. Yeah, we get off track as per the usual, but we read some really great stuff today and I’m excited to see what everyone thinks about it. Sleep Paralysis is incredibly interesting me, and so is the idea of the afterlife or even the tight-rope of life and death. What lengths we go to in order to hold onto the things we love the most. Crazy. Crazy stuff, right? I’d say that shit’s just about as crazy as fossils.
