Hey Full House Fans, Angela Bowen, here the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I covered the next episode in the Jesse & Joey Career Duo Series), Full House S2E13: Working Mothers, which aired on February 3, 1989. In this episode after Jesse and Joey are offered full time jobs at an ad agency, they struggle to decide if they can do the job and still be moms to the girls. I thought this was a good episode, Jesse and Joey win over a big client for their boss with an amazing advertising pitch complete with Joey wearing many hats and playing different characters with a jingle for Hurry Mart, so catchy. On the spot their boss gives them full time positions, it's all great until DJ and Stephanie wonder who will take care of them if all three of the guys are working. News Flash, they're working while you're in school, you'll see them in the evening. Good grief. The girls (DJ and Steph) act like they're becoming latchkey kids (which for some reason was the worst thing to be in the 80's and 90's by their attitude), I was a 90's latchkey kid from age 11 onward, it wasn't a big deal. The show Small Wonder did an episode about it. In the end the girls make the guys feel so guilty, they ask their boss if they can just work from home. He's cool with it. Michelle has developed a habit of locking people out of the house and a balcony in this episode. Self locking doors not a good thing. Join me next week when I cover the next episode Full House S4E3: The I.Q. Man, which aired on October 5, 1990. In this episode Jesse and Joey's latest client asks them to compromise their morals while shooting a commercial. Have a great weekend and I hope you enjoy the podcast episode!

Hey Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Tea Time With Mr. Belvedere: A Mr. Belvedere Podcast. A child dealing with the death of someone is always a touchy subject but it’s even harder when the child feels guilty thinking they caused the person’s death as Wesley does in S2E4: Requiem which aired on October 18, 1985 In this episode Wesley blames himself when his accordion teacher dies during a lesson; he wished something would bad would happen to him, and by coincidence, it did. Also in this episode Heather learns to walk in high heels which is Plot B. We also learn that Kevin knows how to waltz from all the dancing lessons Marsha had him take. Marsha gets a book from the library for her and George titled Sexual Dilemma: Road Map To The 80’s. As much sexual innuendos as George throws out there, I don’t think he and Marsha have any issues or dilemmas with their sex life. I also talk about dealing with the first death in my family when I was 7, my grandfather passed away (my mom’s father). I remember falling asleep at the funeral. Join me next week for S2E16: Wesley's Friend which aired on January 31, 1986. In this episode Wesley is supposed to play William Howard Taft in the school's Presidents' Day pageant, but an opening to play Abraham Lincoln comes up. The boy who was supposed to play Lincoln, Wesley's friend Danny, has been pulled out of school because he got AIDS from a blood transfusion. Not knowing anything about the virus, Wesley believes what his friends tell him about it and becomes afraid of Danny. Have a great day and see you next week!

Hey Tanner Fans, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, in honor of Andrea Barber's Birthday, I'm covering Full House S8E19: Taking The Plunge, which aired on February 28, 1995. In this episode It's D.J. to the rescue when she learns that Kimmy plans to elope with her new boyfriend, hoping that marriage will solve all her problems. Joey gets an opportunity to meet the Queen of England. This was a fun time covering this one, from DJ reeling from her rejection from Stanford, to our first official meeting of Dwayne, Kimmy's new boyfriend repeating his famous catch phrase "whatever" , to Joey's wacky adventure meeting the Queen of England, his supposed assassination attempt by camera "nobody move, I just gotta get one shot" (horrible choice of words, Joey) as he pulls out Michelle's camera like he's got a gun tucked away in his suit and finally to the create your own wedding with Kimmy and Dwayne dressing up as Friday the 13th, but honestly the officiate performing the ceremony looks like a mashup of the three big horror franchises of the 80's Freddy Krueger (the striped shirt), chainsaw (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) and the mask (Friday The 13th or and this is because part of the mask has a piece missing towards the bottom, makes me think of Phantom Of The Opera). I also found out you can have a Create Your Own Wedding Theme. Depending on what you want, they range from $700-$1300. I also found instructions on what to do if you meet the Queen. I was also thinking how cool it would have been if Stephanie had brought up Prince William who was the same age as her and me, 13. Like "Hey Joey, see if you can find out what Prince William's favorite food is from his Grandma. Thanks to Stephanie's mention of the Clapper and my searching Amazon for it, we are now the proud owners (well, actually Jeremy is) of a Darth Vader Clapper. Thanks, Stephanie I also look up the tv shows that had characters eloping: my favorites were: Nathan and Haley - One Tree Hill Corey and Topanga - Boy Meets World I also discuss where I know Scott Menville (Dwayne) from, The Wonder Years as Wart, Wayne Arnold's best friend (Kevin Arnold's older brother). Scott Menville delivers a great performance in The Wonder Years S6E1: Homecoming as his character comes back from the Vietnam War, forever changed. Join me on July 25, as I cover in honor of Juan Pablo Di Pace's Birthday (Fernando) Fuller House S4E9: Perfect Sons, which aired on December 14, 2018. In this episode Fernando's mother pays a surprise visit, so he presents that he Kimberly live here, have a baby and have D.J as her maid and Steve teaches Jackson how to drive. Max makes a memorable debut on "Wake Up San Francisco" when he got a B. Have a great holiday weekend everyone! To EMAIL The Podcast Go To: [email protected]

Hey Ducks Fans, Angela Bowen here, the host of Looking Back On My Wonder Years: A Wonder Years Podcast. Today, I close the book on The Mighty Ducks Trilogy by reviewing the third and final movie D3:The Mighty Ducks (1996). I have to be honest when I say, the first The Mighty Ducks (1992) will always rank as the top Ducks Movie in my mind and in my heart, I adored the second one as far as sequels go, but the third one was just an utter bottom of the barrel mess what with the crappy storyline of the Ducks being given scholarships to Eden Hall Academy and their biggest rival is the Varsity Team. Give Me A Break! I agree with Joshua Jackson's piss poor attitude of not wanting to do this movie, he really brings that to the table in his portrayal of Charlie Conway who comes out acting like a major dick to whoever crosses his path. Gordon Bombay looking as hot as his OG Mighty Duck Movie self (none of this middle part longer hair BS like in the second movie)and we get to see Casey and Hans again, all three of them are calling Charlie out on his shit attitude basically telling him to grow a pair and grow the F- UP. Bombay gives Charlie a pep talk and magically he becomes OG Captain Duck Charlie Conway again, the real Minnesota Miracle Man (according to Bombay)and able to play by Coach Orion's rules which are all about, DEFENCE DEFENCE DEFENCE!!! I had a good time ragging the hell out of this movie and hope you all get some enjoyment out of it too. Stay Safe and Stay Positive! We WILL get through this! Hey Tanner Fans, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today in honor of Scott Weinger's (Steve Hale) birthday today I've decided to cover Full House S7E2: The Apartment, which aired on September 21, 1993. In this episode Steve gets an apartment and D.J goes for a visit. She falls asleep on the couch and Danny gets angry when she doesn't come home on time. He goes to the building and looks through the window. Also in this episode, Joey's tranquility tapes do more harm than good, like put him in a life or death situation he is not aware of and may never be, when that cement truck chute comes down breaking glass that rains down into the kitchen, surprisingly close to him that I'm surprised that chute didn't take him out as it came down and he doesn't even feel his feet being covered in wet cement. Yikes! Michelle's lack of understanding the definition of the word hobby, which does not include, going to school, brushing your teeth or clipping your toenails or even cementing the driveway, all Jesse's suggestions, because even he, a grown adult does not know the meaning of a hobby, which is weird because his biggest hobby is playing guitar in a band. I'm sorry but unless you're making money and earning a living from it, it's a hobby. Just like my podcasting. Michelle takes it upon herself to figure out a hobby, which turns out to be a big headache for Danny who's already burning the candle at both ends as he's policing DJ and Steve's goings on around the house by following them with a vacuum, only to have to deal with a bigger mess than the girl's leaf covered bedroom (complete with little bugs on them) because the kitchen floor is now being remodeled in cement. DJ and Steve spend an evening at his place after choosing between Indecent Proposal (lots of having sex and talking about having sex with Robert Redford) they go for the safe choice, The Terminator (which does include a pretty lengthy sex scene between Sarah Conner and Kyle Reese as they create John Conner, I know TMI). The movie must have been boring because they konk out before the end credits roll. Danny spies on them from above together asleep on the couch as the chair breaks causing them to wake and realize it's way late , like 1AM late. They discover a disheveled Danny on the floor outside the door. Then he lays into DJ for breaking curfew, forbidding her from darkening Steve's doorway ever again. Kathy Santoni's married and pregnant in high school teen mom status, puts the fear of God in Danny and his nerves on high alert, only imagining what DJ is doing after midnight with Steve. Things work out in the end, we get a mention of Pam and how she would have been better equip to handle this sensitive non Dad territory conversation and DJ assures Danny she is a long ways off from wanting to settle down and start a family and Danny relinquishes his hold on DJ's grounding giving her the greenlight to visit Steve's apartment again. Today, I covered Full House S1E3: The First Day Of School, which aired on October 2, 1987. In this episode Danny, Jesse and Joey try to convince Stephanie that school is cool while DJ tries to make a clean escape! I really enjoyed this episode as I could relate to Stephanie in a way that we all can really first days in a new school or a new job where you don't know anyone is both scary and intimidating. Danny's words ring true "If you don't try something new, you never know what you could be missing out on. These words can be applied to almost anything. We also get hilarious lines delivered from Stephanie and a sweet sister moment between DJ and Stephanie as they both learn a lesson about change and new beginnings. Uncle Jesse gets a little too adult when giving advice to Stephanie about being nervous when trying new things, as he almost goes into explicit detail about losing his virginity to an older experienced girl when he was fourteen, luckily Danny cuts him off with a hard look. TMI Jess. Join me next week for Full House S3E2: Back To School Blues, which aired on September 29, 1989. Hey Tanner Fans, Angela Bowen, here the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I conclude the Grandparents Day series with the final episode Full House S7E17: The Last Dance, which aired on February 8, 1994. In this episode during his visit to San Francisco, Jesse's beloved grandfather, Papouli, dies in his sleep. Jesse and Michelle are both devastated as they try to come to terms with his death. I'd put off recording this episode for as long as I could, I wanted to wait until I was emotionally ready and could handle watching it again. I remember watching this episode when it first aired and realizing the promo that aired days before this episode was correct, this was an episode you shouldn't miss. For the first time we were seeing the Tanners/Katsopolis and Joey openly grieve someone who had passed away. Granted the two most affected by Papouli's passing where Jesse and Michelle. I loved the close relationship shared between Papouli and Michelle with learning a Greek dance and baking in the kitchen and his wise stories, there had to be a bond there between them just like Jesse had with his grandfather when he was a little boy to get that heartbreaking scene at the end with Jesse and Michelle, where they break down in each others arms, finally able to release that pain and hurt they had been holding in. Now I'd seen the episode a few times over the years courtesy of Hulu, but there were key scenes that were left out, that in watching this uncut DVD version, I was surprised helped piece some things together for me. In the beginning of the episode Danny and Joey are at the kitchen table preparing grape leaves and they're talking about going fishing when they were kids with Danny's father and how they dreamed one day when they were grown they would buy their own boat. One, I liked that we got a little tidbit of Danny and his dad because we don't know much about him and two this scene helped piece together how they ended up with the boat towards the end. The other scene I feel like I had never seen was with Danny and Michelle in her bedroom as she is asking her father why Papouli had to die, Danny just tells her he was old and time on this earth is short. He tells her to come to him with any questions and tells her they'll help each other through as a family. I thought the scene was ok, but honestly neither Bob Saget or whichever Olsen twin who was playing Michelle in this scene brought their A game to the table. I get it we needed to hold out for the powerhouse scene between Jesse and Michelle at the end, but this scene just fell flat for me and was kinda weak sauce. Overall, it was good to see this episode again in it's full unedited glory. Join me next week when I begin the new series for NOVEMBER, Back to School Part 2 Series, where I kick things off with Full house S2E17: El problema Grande de DJ, which aired on March 10, 1989. In this episode DJ gets a "D" in Spanish. Danny goes to try and find out what was going on and talks to the teacher. The teacher explains that DJ just wasn't trying. She comes over to the house later and labels things in Spanish. then she and Danny kiss. Dj and her friends come home and see them kissing and everyone laughs at her. Then Danny has to decide whether to continue to see the teacher or to respect DJ and her feelings. Have a great weekend everyone! To EMAIL The Podcast Go To: [email protected]

Happy Full House Friday Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast, Today, I'm covering the last episode in the Best Friends Series, Full House S4E5: Good News, Bad News, which aired on October 19, 1990. In this episode DJ becomes editor of the school newspaper and faces backlash when she appoints Kimmy to a position for which she is unqualified. This was a fun and cute episode. DJ having been made the editor of the school paper, Kimmy jumps at the opportunity to work along side her best friend, however the only (I find this so hard to believe)position left on the paper was Sports Editor. There were a few boys there including Jake Bitterman (this is his last appearance on the show), we know that Jake wanted that position instead he got, copying the lunch menu. Whoopee! (NOT). After Kimmy's failed attempt at covering the school basketball team game (all she writes about is Robby Hudson the equipment manager, she doesn't even mention who won the game). DJ demands she write it again, Kimmy reuses and they fight, ending their friendship. They aren't the only ones fighting, Becky and Danny can barely get through the taping of their commercial for the show (that Jesse and Joey are shooting and directing) without snipping and glaring at each other. Pointing out the other's faults. Michelle annoys Stephanie to no end with the Shadow Game, which basically consists of repeating anything the other person says until they scream and runaway. Luckily for the girls along with Danny and Becky they are able to see past their squabbling and realize how immature they're being and make up with each other. Have a great month and I'll see you in October with a new Series of episodes,
