Will the Carolina Panthers finally address the need at TE during the 2024 NFL Draft?

Entering the 2024 NFL Draft, the Carolina Panthers cornerback room could be seen as among the most volatile on the roster. Why? Well, the health concerns of former first round pick Jaycee Horn has a lot to do with the position groups outlook heading into the draft. Undoubtedly, Horn is a phenomenal player when he's on the field. The problem is Horn has missed 29 of the first 51 games of his NFL career, calling into question is future with the team past 2024. How will Horn's health issues impact the Panthers plans in the draft next week?

Whether Horn is able to stay healthy or not, the Panthers need to find long-term options in the CB room. The best way to do that is by identifying a talent in the draft. While that's clearly a need for the team, that's not the only need the Panthers have heading into the draft. Will the Panthers prioritize selecting a starting caliber CB over other needs on the team?

During Scott Fitterer's tenure as the Panthers GM, it appeared that the Panthers leaned heavy on players traits when evaluating the draft. Now with Dan Morgan at the helm, will the Panthers keep that same philosophy or will the organization focus more on college production for players they're scouting?
