VGK shuts out Calgary for a 2nd time this season on home ice

The Golden Knights blanked the Calgary Flames for a second time this season on home ice. This time it was Ilya Samsonov who shut out the Flames 3-0 on 31 shots. Both he and Calgary goalie Dan Vladar were locked into a duel before Brett Howden broke the ice with 4:01 to go in the second period. That became the game winner. Samsonov had to withstand a lengthy penalty kill after back-to-back penalties on VGK. We recap Friday's win over the Sharks and the four-goal third period outburst for the Golden Knights.
