Team USA will have a rematch against Team Canada Thursday this time for the 4 Nations Championship in Boston. Canada held on for a 5-3 win after leading Finland 4-0 Monday to clinch a spot in the Final vs USA. Team USA lost a meaningless game, meanwhile 2-1 to Sweden. Team USA was shorthanded with an 11/6 structure to start the game. Brady Tkachuk skated into the goal post and played only two minutes. He came back after the injury but played only one shift, before departing again. Austin Matthews, Matthew Tkachuk and Charlie McEvoy were out for Team USA. We also talk about VGK returning to the ice on Tuesday in preparation for Saturday's game against Vancouver on home ice.

Team USA "punches" its ticket to 4 Nations Final

Team USA came out swinging in Saturday's 4 Nations meeting against Team Canada. In fact, the puck hadn't even dropped when Matthew Tkachuk dropped his gloves against Brandon Hagel. Brother Brady followed suit Sam Bennett and JT Miller of Team USA fought Colton Parayko - all within the first :09 of the game! That set the tone for Team USA, who outhit the Canadians, in a 3-1 USA victory. Jake Guentzel scored twice for Team USA, who are in the final Thursday by virtue of the win. We explore the Curious Case of Adin Hill - why hasn't he earned a chance to start a game yet for Canada. And we preview Monday's games in the Four Nations, with USA's opponent still up for grabs.

VGK returns to work!

Vacation's over for the Golden Knights as they returned to the ice Tuesday sans the Four Nations participants. Assistant coach John Stevens ran practice and met the media afterward saying only that the goal was to get players back on the ice and moving their feet. The pace of practice will pick up today, as prep for Saturday's game against Vancouver begins. VGK traded forward Grigori Denisenko to Nashville for future considerations. Denisenko played one game with VGK this season, and played mostly with AHL Henderson. We talk about Quinn Hughes and whether he will play in 4 Nations and the injuries so far in the tournament. And, the rumor mill is swirling as a report surfaces that VGK scouts have been focusing on the Buffalo Sabres.
