Pastor Mac continued his Vision 2025 series entitled, The Vision Imperative. The Word of God tells us that having vision is an absolute imperative to His purposes for our lives. It’s not something we can avoid. And it doesn’t matter what a person of faith you may be, how often you come to church, or how spiritual you think you are, the Word says in Proverbs 19:18 that “without a vision, the people perish.” If you’re a person, then that’s talking about you! You need a vision for your life—a God-given vision.

Mysteries of the Kingdom 18| Deceitfulness of Riches | Mac Hammond | LWCC
One of the weed seeds that Jesus warns about in the parable of the sower is the deceitfulness of riches. Now, this weed seed—or you could say worldly idea—doesn’t refer only to the people who have great wealth. It refers to excess over need. When you have even a few dollars left after your need is met, you have the potential to be lured away from the Word of God by the deceitfulness of money. That doesn’t mean money is bad. Money is a medium of exchange in this natural world, but if your trust and security lies in your bank account taking care of you rather than God, you’ll also find that you can be more easily deceived.
If the devil can’t deceive you, he can’t defeat you! That’s why it is important to learn how to relate rightly to money in this natural world.

The decisions we make toward life and blessing or death and cursing are our choice. We become completely immersed in the Holy Spirit when we are baptized through fire. Through our faith, the temporal realm is changed by the unseen realm. The power of the Holy Spirit is given to us so we can be a witness for Him to all those around us. The Holy Spirit also reveals to us God's plan for our lives. Contentment, joy, and power are ours when we flow in His purpose.

Two ditches... Living for the miraculous and the other.. Living for a miracle. Where does the balance lie? God does miracles mostly for young believers or non-believers to help them to see Him. We need to trust Him to meet our needs through faith. The miracle occurs in order for us to move forward step by step. God is faithful.
