Welcome to Lucky Episode 013 of the Living Understaffed podcast, where Sarah and Erika hilariously unravel another week of chaos and coping (mostly). Did we mention our “luck” in that we recording this episode 3 different times before it actually took?
From being baffled by mysterious laptop liquid ("The repair shop told me it smelled like Chinese food, but I haven’t even had Chinese food!" 🍜) to avoiding those 15-minute tasks that somehow get put off for weeks, the duo keeps it real, raw, and relatable.
This time, we're diving into our favorite toxic traits and trying (unsuccessfully) to accept compliments without imploding. Sarah and Erika are “experts” at juggling work, podcasting, and laundry piles—just don’t ask them to do it on time! 🤷♀️
And now for those very exciting announcements: Starting today, we’re going weekly! 🎉 We’re also launching our very own Discord server—join us to chat all things understaffed, overwhelmed, and overtired. And because we clearly don’t have enough on our plates, we’re kicking off a monthly Understaffed Book Club. Who doesn’t need one more thing to juggle, right? 📚✨
Featured Promo is with our newest friend, Sarah Wilson, host of Everything’s Messy Podcast. Check out her website for more info!
Buckle up for some understaffed laughs and join the chaos! #Relatable #ADHDlife #ToxicButFunny #JoinOurDiscord #LivingUnderstaffed #LivingUnderstaffedPodcast #Understaffed #Podcast #IndiePodcast

12 - Self-Care, Sunburns & Savage Email Replies
Welcome back to Living Understaffed with Episode #12. Sarah’s recording from Hawaii 🌺 (and totally not flaunting it), while Erika’s stuck in the mainland sipping on her cold, sad coffee. In this totally zen episode, we dive into:
- Sarah's tragic sunburn recovery plan—spoiler: it’s mostly aloe and sarcasm.
- Erika’s fight for justice... against people who CC the boss and claim they "didn't get the email." 🙄
- The great office supply love fest—because nothing says “I’m an adult” like Sharpie pens with weight.
- And of course, the most iconic email sign-offs you didn’t know you needed in your life.
Tune in for stories of sea turtles, spa dates, and the petty email wars you wish you could be a part of. 🐢💌
Because who needs more hours in the day when you have iced coffee and a strong urge to "reply all"? ✨
So, if you're feeling a little overwhelmed and need some laughs (and maybe a nap), grab your favorite snack and tune in. And don’t forget to *leave a review*—we’re small, we’re growing, and we live for your feedback (even if it’s not a 5-star, but we mean... why wouldn’t it be?). 😘 ✨ Like, subscribe, and share the Understaffed love! ✨

Expect hilarious anecdotes about what makes a fictional male character swoon-worthy versus what would be a dealbreaker in reality. From “Golden Retriever in the streets, Dom in the sheets” 🐕🦺 to the timeless charm of Mr. Darcy, the hosts break down their literary loves and how they’d stack up in the real world.
Sarah and Erika also get personal, sharing stories of hair dye mishaps 💇♀️, post-car-accident stress 🚗, and the weekly emotional rollercoaster that is therapy. As always, they balance the serious with the light-hearted, dishing out relatable moments about navigating self-discipline and showing up for themselves amidst life’s chaos.
