Living the Fit Life
03/04/21 • 61 min
The Fit Life Podcast has heard from many athletes over the episodes, this week we hear from an athlete who has represented her country, and will hopefully get to do it again in the 2022 Winter Olympics.
This week Chad and Michelle dit down to talk with a rising Professional Women's Ice Hockey Player, Loren Gabel. Loren talks about her history with LP and how she became a member of our LP Family. She chats about how her training has been over the years and when she really started to dial into the sport. They chat about rituals and some odd superstitions. Something about a little Double Bubble...
Loren talks about her involvement with the PWHPA and what the organization is doing to support Women's Hockey and the fight to pursue equality in sports. While there is still a bit of a hill to climb to find equality in the sport, the players and the organization are definitely on the right track.
