Emotions are a good thing, and it's ok to shed a tear or two. It can be tricky when you are in a public setting and the waterworks kick in. A recent attendance at a local choir performance began a journey of reflection for Lindy, along with a quest for more tissue! Music brings harmony and trigger memories, bringing an awareness of aging and changing times. In this episode what started out as a quick late afternoon walk turned into a thought-provoking podcast recorded outside with nature. Lindy's most heartfelt podcasts come when sitting by the ocean, and in this episode she shares her experience in the choir concert and the impact it had on her life that day.
*Please be forgiving of the occasional "hiss" that was coming from the cell phone recording, in addition to the sound of the plane overhead. It was an "on the spot" recording, direct from the heart.
*Additional notes: My gratitude to my friend Thom for the invite. It's amazing how a small action can lead to big moments.
Congratulations as well to all the wonderful performers with Island Voices Chamber Choir, Quadra Singers and Comox Valley Children and Youth Choir. Your concert in March 2023 was great!

Pinball machines have existed since the 1930's and for many people they are a still a hit. Over past decades pinball machines have graced the sets of movies, provided entertainment for teenagers and adults and brought people together in a social setting. In this episode Lindy is joined by Richard Blank, CEO of a call center in Costa Rica. Richard is an avid pinball enthusiast and collector of these vintage games. He even has a collection at the office for enjoyment by all. A fun topic, and it certainly brings back some great memories.
