In this week's episode, Dan Rodriguez, chair of the ABA Center on Innovation's governing council, presents to the LexLab community before opening up for questions. This week on LexBlab, our panelists tell the story of how the Sierra Club used the e-discovery platform Logikcull to take down Scott Pruitt of the EPA.
On July 5, 2018, Scott Pruitt stepped down from his position as the Head of the Environmental Protection Agency. Behind his recognition was a mountain of scrutiny surrounding his connections to the companies he was supposed to be regulating, as well as abuses of power. Although numerous groups were calling for an investigation and conducting research, some of the grossest examples of misconduct may never have been brought to light if not for Sierra Club Foundation’s FOIA requests.
