On todays’ episode, we welcome Emily Reagan.
Emily Reagan is a mom of four, Air Force wife, and jill-of-all-trades when it comes to digital marketing and techie skills. She’s worked as a behind-the-scenes digital marketing implementer with many creatives and furniture painters: Jennifer Allwood, Tracey Bellion, Miss Mustard Seed, Wendy Batten, and more, to grow their online businesses. She’s the founder of the Unicorn Digital Marketing Assistant School and Digital Marketer’s Workgroup where she teaches women the digital marketing skills to get hired online as an in-demand, highly sought-after unicorn digital marketing assistant. Find her links below the episode description.
We start all episodes of Let's Relieve Regret with a Check-In and Causes for Applause.
During this episode, we discuss being a solopreneur, different types of spas and the possibility of watching a baby bird being hatched in real life!
To skip the check-in and get right to the regrets segment, please tune in at 17:32

During the regrets segment, Shadoe opens up about admiring cynicism and judging happy people.
This leads to a conversation about how people that feel like misfits can sometimes use cynicism as a shield as well as a way to attack others.

We also discussed the movie Mean Girls, personality assessments and the 'knowledge of knowledge.

Then, Emily opens up about financial regrets; mainly around not taking the advice she received at a young age. She strongly believed in her marriage and had hope that contributing to her husbands retirement funds would be the best choice.
This leads to a conversation about the shame that surrounds money in the first place, including separate finances, judging our friends and that invincible feeling of "that will not be me."
On the positive side, Emily is excited to move forward with her business. She is able to lead through ambiguity. Sometimes, starting over is exactly what we need, especially if it feels scary!

As always, we end the episode with 3 breaths. This season, the breaths are about abundance!

-we also touch on the topics of: fear and fear-based decision making, moments of joy and hope, road rage, emotional discharge, bystander effect, sympathy and compassion for everyone, sympathy and compassion for ourselves , how important it is to take a few seconds to retrain your brain for optimism.

During our regular format, we always ask before providing feedback. But today you can be in the room as Shadoe and Victoria have a very real conversation about how they are feeling.

2 Key Takeaways:
