It requires a pitcher to make a mistake in order for the batter to capitalize on it. The same thing can be said of grand slam home run photographs. It's not strictly a matter of the skill of the photographer, but also relies on a certain amount of distribution luck and a coincidental synchronicity between the photograph and the public's receptivity to that specific image.
