Ben Cena always enjoyed movies and comic books. After graduating from Bishop Watterson High School, I spent four years studying illustration at Columbus College of Art and Design, where I received a bachelor's in fine arts. When I was 22, I started a web series called Retro Podcast and wrote my first screenplay, Orlando Monster; the script was nominated for the Chicago Film Awards Festival and first placed in the Cooper Awards. At age 23, directed and edited a short documentary titled The Joy of Teamwork that won two awards in two international film festivals. At age 24, I wrote and illustrated my first comic book, Night at the North Pole.
