Antes de llegar a USA, Francois estuvo como Gerente General para el área Andina de Mc Cain foods, negocio de alimentos congelados para dicha región. Precio a Mc Cain, Francois estuvo como Vicepresidente Ejecutivo de Chocolates el Rey en Venezuela y como Gerente General y Presidente del Comité Ejecutivo en Jarden Consumer Solutions para Venezuela. Su carrera la inició en Procter & Gamble Venezuela y área Andina donde estuvo 16 años, donde su ultimo role fue Director Asociado de Mercadeo del área Andina.

Francois Simnpietri is the General Manager of Corbuma USA, leading its introduction in the US market. He previously was leading the introduction of Chocolates El Rey to the US market. Before arriving in the USA, Francois was General Manager for the Andean area of Mc Cain foods, a frozen food business for said region. Price to Mc Cain, Francois was as Executive Vice President of Chocolates el Rey in Venezuela and also, as General Manager and President of the Executive Committee at Jarden Consumer Solutions for Venezuela. His career began in Procter & Gamble Venezuela and the Andean area where he spent 16 years, where his last role was Associate Director of Marketing for the Andean area.

Pilar Madrigal is the Head of Investment Advisory, at the Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency (CINDE). She joined CINDE in 1998 and during her 20-year career at CINDE, she has been instrumental in leading the organization's international promotion efforts. In her current role, she is responsible for developing strategies, activities and programs to promote foreign direct investment into Costa Rica as well as overseeing the long-term growth of the companies already established in the country.

Prior to joining CINDE, Pilar was appointed as Third Secretary to the United Nations, It was during that period that Costa Rica held both the Presidency of the Group of the 77 (G-77) and of the United Nations Security Council.
