In this week’s episode, I sit down with Cliff Buford, a blogger, writer, leadership coach and podcast host to learn about his journey and approach to leadership.
Cliff Buford stepped into his first leadership role at 22 years old within Ground Operations of a major US airline. Over the course of 11 years, Cliff had much success in leadership. He decided to ditch the traditional style of leadership years ago and doing that has allowed him to be revered as one of the most well-thought leaders in his profession amongst his peers and the people that he has led.
Born and raised in Chicago, IL Cliff has worked his way to Los Angeles, Ca where he now calls home. Cliff has led hundreds of career professionals throughout his career and is committed to helping each of them find their why.

Niki Harris is a Senior Executive Assistant at Southwest Airlines. Her passion is utilizing her CliftonStrengths themes of Deliberative, Intellection, Analytical, Relator, and Connectedness to walk alongside others through the daily rigors of professional, personal, and academic life. Niki completed two Bachelor of Arts, English and Communication, and a Master of Public Affairs at the University of Missouri. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Higher Education at Azusa Pacific University.
