Ep #19 - Meet Isabel, a firebrand and bold Latina voice promoting the modern childfree lifestyle. This episode was recorded on the day that Roe v. Wade was overturned, and though Isabel is from Colombia, she explains how the reverberations of this landmark decision affect childfree people around the world, and especially in Latin America.
We didn't hide our frustrations during this conversation, and we also didn't shy away from delving into heavy topics like white supremacy, forced sterilization, and the dangers of pronatalism. But we also have hope for the impact that our own voices can have for other Latinas, and invite you to join this fight with us.
More about Isabel:
Isabel loves to create virtual and IRL activities that connect more childfree women from around the World. Whether co-hosting the Childfree Girls podcast or organizing trips with The Uprising Spark, Isabel is the childfree friend you always wanted but never knew you needed.

Isabel is a co-founder of Nunca Madre: a Spanish-speaking community for childfree people in Latin America and Spain focused on raising awareness about choice and helping those undecided about having kids.

A world traveler, avid kite surfer, and childfree intersectional feminist, Isabel offers safe spaces where other childfree women evolve and grow into the best versions of themselves.

Your Childfree Cheerleader with Breanna Aguilar

Wanna share your thoughts? Send a text!

Ep #18 - Ever feel like you need a little more support? Like maybe the cheerleader in your head could use a louder voice? Allow me to introduce you to Breanna Aguilar, your childfree cheerleader.

Breanna is a second-generation Mexican-American, childfree advocate, and a warm-hearted woman who is “here to cheer you on in life.” She wants you to succeed, and ”to give [your] voice an ear. It’s something that a lot of us want, but not a lot of us get.”

Discussing her giant life transition and how the events of 2020 really turned life upside down, Breanna shares how she found the confidence to advocate for a medical treatment through the power of public speaking, and how that led to the creation of a children’s book (of all things!).

Breanna’s journey to finally schedule a hysterectomy is a wild ride—including topics like infertility, PCOS, endometriosis, HPV. If you find these to be a bit too sensitive for you, there will be a trigger warning inserted in the episode so you can skip past this portion of the show. You won’t want to miss out on her nerdiness around baseball, her desire to include you in the conversation, and how to join her community.

Ep #20 - Sabrina Clementine is a construction project manager by day, and a garment construction entrepreneur by night. Born and raised in Miami, Sabrina is a Colombian-American and knows a little something about creativity and being a tía (or tití, like Bad Bunny would say).

As the owner of the handmade clothing boutique Be My Clementine, Sabrina's legacy is seen in the confianza she gives her clients through their clothing. Clothing can conjure confidence!

We also discuss how to deal with chismosos and why sewing Instagram is the place to be.
