The KU Project was invited to experience the Festivals of Aloha at Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea. From the Carmen Hulu Lindsey Leo Ha‘iha‘i Falsetto Contest, Hula is the Heartbeat and Sounds of the Sea, there were moments filled with aloha and pride in the Hawaiian culture.
Daniel Aipa of The KU Project talks stories with Daryl Fujiwara, Festivals of Aloha coordinator, about the festival's history and the importance of bringing the community together to celebrate their traditions and culture.
