Welcome to the first interview in my Donut Shop Series!
In this episode I talk with Bradley Taylor of The Donut Trap in the Twin Cities, MN.
In 2013 Bradley began making donuts for himself and friends. The enterprise quickly became a business. He shares the whole story with me as well as the story behind the name of his first shop, SssDude-Nutz.

Have you ever felt like you've been set up? Have you ever felt like no matter what you do, things just won't go your way?
I had an interview for an entry position with the San Diego Public Defender's office which was canceled because of a background check. They uncovered an absurd charge against me. I was set up. I was set up to be a mother, a stay-at-home-mom. My donut story showed me that and then I realized this was the first time.

This came out during a Facebook Live today.
A passage from Joseph Murphy's Your Right to be Rich struck a chord with me and as I share with my audience how the words affected me, I seem to get worked up. I have been telling myself I don't have a business because what I do doesn't look like what everyone is doing.
This is me trying to get through to myself and everyone else who continues to let negativity seep into our thoughts. (Nasty language warning.)

Trust your intuition. It's always there.
This is a little story from early 2020, the last time my husband and I went out before everything closed.
I wanted, and needed, a good night, a nice dinner with all the things - appetizer, wine, dessert. We got a great table, and then something threatened my night.
I went within to figure out how to save it, and it worked.

There is strength in a powerful decision. Here is another story from the Green Line, the light rail that travels between downtown Minneapolis and downtown St. Paul. After an unsettling early morning ride to work I made a powerful decision and the Universe provided the details.
