Today I’m talking to meditation teacher Laura Farrington, who runs an online meditation studio and is the co-founder of Umbrella Wellness, which provides wellness activities for corporate businesses.

We discuss how meditation can help us to be better business owners by shifting our mindset. A topic I discuss in the opening chapter of my book.

Some of the things we talked about when it comes to changing your mindset through meditation:

  • What meditation actually is - Laura busts some myths around what people think it is or ‘should’ be.
  • How meditation can help you on a personal level as well as in your business.
  • How using box breathing for just 5 minutes per day can help you to get started.
  • Using affirmations to help shift from a negative to a more positive mindset - I also talk about this in the book!
