In this episode, Tom and Ben deviate from normal show parameters and do a whole episode on a "Story You May Have Missed"
We discuss at length a British article published in October 2020 in Nursing Times [online]. The article is titled "Learning from the past? Spanish influenza and the lessons for Covid-19" Written by Olivia Gordon, Amanda Gwinnup, and Christine Hallett.
We breakdown the article and examine the similarities between the Spanish Flu and COVID-19 and sadly some of the lessons we thought we would have learned but apparently haven't.
Lastly, we talk at length about Mental Health is Health. We emplore you, if you need help mentally please reach out. And if you or someone you know is contemplating suicide, the national hotline in the US is 9-8-8.
