Do you ever just collide with someone else? You have a difference in opinion, but instead of just leaving it at that, you take it personally and get your emotions involved? We’ve all been there. Dr. Buske has found that it’s helpful to consider that everyone sees things through a different lens. Your values, beliefs, the way you see the world, it was all shaped by how you were brought up and those around you. When we can realize that neither is right nor wrong, we just have a different frame of view, we can better relay ideas with one another.

EP 153: Faith, Uncertainty And Clarity

How did you make it through Covid? A lot of people fell into the trap of anger about decisions already made, or worry about what’s to come. Dr. Buske handled it with faith, uncertainty, and clarity. He knew anger and worry wouldn’t serve him. He decided to have faith that this would pass. He admitted to himself that he doesn’t know 95% of the information out there, and that kept him curious. He also found he could better lead his team and family through this by being clear about his thoughts and feelings in the moment.
