Creating A Data Security Strategy And Operationalizing A Mature Data Security Program | A Live Stream Panel With Chris Daskalos And Andy Rappaport | Redefining CyberSecurity With Sean Martin
03/24/22 • 50 min
Data is the fuel that powers the business. What are organizations doing to protect it?
Organizations have become the custodians of critical information needed to remain competitive and sensitive information that their customers have entrusted them with. While some organizations have taken this responsibility seriously, governments (state, federal, and international) have had to step in to help guide companies on how best to safely manage this data. There are a ton of rules to follow balanced with a ton of business goals to achieve. That's where a data security strategy and data security program come into play. But, what is data protection and how does it impact the business operations.
Join us for this session as we explore the following points:
◾️ Roles
◾️ Policies
◾️ Controls
◾️ Assessment
◾️ Demonstrating posture
◾️ Maintenance and tuning
◾️ Advice for the future

Racing on the Moon! Six teams of young explorers compete to design, build, land and race two autonomous vehicles on the Moon? Kids, These Days! | An Audio Signals Conversation With Mary L Hagy
Times are changing fast — not too long ago, I used to race bottle caps on chalk-designed circuits and now look at these kids about designing, building, land, and racing two autonomous vehicles on the Moon? Ok, maybe I am older than I like to admit 😬
Nevertheless, what a great time to be alive. All sorts of technology are advancing faster than ever before; the internet, virtual reality, the metaverse, and space exploration is getting to the next level - just to mention a few things. But let’s not forget that the future belongs to the next generations, it always does, and our job is to give them all the wisdom, knowledge, and inspiration we can.
Mary is doing her part. Let’s hear about it!
About Mary
Founder, Creative Entrepreneur, Story Teller, Civic Enthusiast. I conceive, capitalize and execute profitable projects that have inspirational, entertainment, and educational impact across broad audiences. The start-up space is my sweet spot, from creating experiences to capturing the unscripted stories for distribution across multiple platforms, including television, digital, mobile, and next-generation media.
My current project, Moon Mark, will capture global audiences with the stories of six teams of high school explorers who compete to become the final two that will design, build, land and race two autonomous vehicles on the Moon. They will communicate peer-to-peer with young people who will become explorers in space and on Earth; and open a talent pipeline for the workforce of the future.
