I've been doing this work for a long time, and I feel like I've never seen people talk about how manipulation and privilege is as rampant in this industry as anywhere else.
So, today we break down how the self-help industrial complex feeds off of giving people:

False sense of control
Toxic positivity (both directly and rebranded)
More issues with money
The promise of whiteness
