There’s not much time to have a catch up on the weeks’ antics in this episode as a long-anticipated guest is in PJ’s kitchen and is an eager beaver and buzzing to record. Despite a hectic school schedule, Pádraig has finally managed to make it in front of the mic and he wastes no time in divulging dating app interactions, his very first impressions of Kevin way back in primary school and just how mad he is about his own mam. The episode also features chaotic questions from supposed friends of Padraig’s and PJ and Pádraig go head to head in a bid to be Kevin’s best man.

Ep 81 - My Therapist Roasted Me

After a few weeks off following the passing of Kevin’s Dad Jerry, the boys are back and are picking up where they left off. They talk about Jerry and how he was one of the podcast’s biggest supporters and how much of a legend he was in general. The lads know he’s going to be watching over them and keeping a close eye on their future projects.

Kevin shares that because it’s been a whirlwind of a year he has recently started therapy and though he’s loving it he’s worried he’s too hung up on having his therapist like him. PJ has two new cats Happy and Sailor and he speaks about finding the balance now that he’s a working mam. They then talk about what they miss about each other now than they’re no longer living together and what they don’t miss as much and Kevin reveals what term PJ likes to use in lieu of 'excuse me' when he passes wind.

The lads recently went on a trip to the Royal Albert Hall to see Sam Smith with Universal Music Ireland and came to the realisation that they do in fact like concerts as long as it’s seated and the setting is glamour. They then turn their attention towards the theme this week ‘dreams’ and because they’re pretty clueless on the topic, even when it comes to their own chaotic dreams, they call on the help of expert and author Delphi Ellis to help explore the subject further. She helps the lads debunk some dream myths, helps Kevin analyse the phrase ‘It’s Chico time’ and speaks of a new phenomenon whereby people are so stressed about getting 8 hours sleep a night that they can’t cope and their sleep is inhibited further.
