Why do we find these two, simple words so difficult to say?
I think it's all about emotions. Humility is required to offer an apology, and we're not always so great with humility, are we? Especially if we think we're right. Or we KNOW we're right.
But being right doesn't make for great relationship dynamics.
I believe that our willingness to apologize for the hurt we've caused is equal to the degree of closeness or relational intimacy we will experience with those we love.
