Kathryn’s delicious cocktail recipe (super yummy sans spirit too, if you're looking for a non-alcoholic option!):

1 (or 1.5...or maybe 2???) shots bourbon
2 shots apple cider
Top with ginger ale

Instructions

Put all ingredients in a rocks glass with ice

Mix bourbon & apple cider in glass with ice. Strain into champagne flute & top with ginger ale.

Gina’s homemade apple cider recipe:

2 litres unfiltered/cloudy apple juice
3 cinnamon sticks
1 tsp whole cloves
1 tsp whole allspice

Instructions

Wrap cloves and allspice in a cheesecloth, and tie it to make it teabag-esque
Pop everything into a slow cooker
Heat on high until your kitchen starts to smell good/the liquid is steaming (about an hour)
Turn it down to low until it’s reached your desired level of autumnal tastiness (at least a couple hours)
