In this episode we discuss how career and moneymaking both help and complicate the pursuit of self. Is money a distraction? Or does the all-consuming activity of working help us make sense of life? In upcoming episodes I'm going to be building on ideas of embodiment, losing people but/because of gaining self-love, and spiritual awakening. Today's episode lays the groundwork for these themes. I discuss some of my developments in:

  • Boundaries with self
  • Processing resentment through body work and dreams
  • Dream interpretation
  • Friendship breakups and self respect
  • Proprioception and ignoring the body’s cues

In a friendship dilemma? Consider the following:

  1. Think of the version of you who made this friend, are they someone you would consider trustworthy now? Did they hold standards and boundaries in a way that are useful to you now?
  2. This friend that you are unsure about, are they respectful or disrespectful?
  3. Are they comfortable with conflict? Do they leave room for disagreement?
  4. Are you inspired by them to be a more you version of yourself? What does their presence encourage or discourage in you?
  5. Are your best traits amplified by them or are your worst traits amplified by them or something in between?
  6. Who benefits the most from this relationship? Is it equally beneficial?
  7. What about this friendship lights you up? What about it makes you uncomfortable and uneasy?
  8. Have you tried setting a boundary and how did they respond?
