061: Things That Peeve Us, Part 1
I Got You, Boo!
06/23/22 • 68 min
But whyyyy are they called “pet peeves” though?! Where does the “pet” part come in?! Pets are great. (There's a sneak peek into what the entire episode is gonna sound like, FYI!)
Do you ever have those times in life where those little annoyances add up? Same! Sometimes it's good to just release it and that's exactly what we did this week! A literal back and forth of what peeves us. V fun. V cathartic.
We missed a v big one though... The Instagram algorithm. Doesn't that just peeve everyone just a liiiitle?!
Join us on the pet peeve spiral and let us know some of yours!
060: Taking Own(h)ership
I Got You, Boo!
06/16/22 • 53 min
Are you taking a break OR are you making excuses?! We have a convo to decipher the difference between the two.
There's a fine line between procrastination and avoidance and simply doing what you can to avoid burnout.
We discuss how we've been able to call ourselves out, take own(h)ership for our actions (or inaction), and get real about how to decide whether those things you're putting off or taking a break from are actually serving you.
And obvi, we're a bit silly in this one too. Whenever we switch up when we record our episodes, we tend to get a bit loopy, so enjoy, Boo Crew!
Don't forget to comment on this episode's post with our secret code word, k?! K cool, cool, cool.
059: Being a Beginner
I Got You, Boo!
06/09/22 • 44 min
Every expert was once a beginner.
But it's not often talked about.
It needed talking about...
So we talked about it!
Those awko taco early days at a new job or learning a new skill or taking on a new responsibility. We often admire others for what they've accomplished or the success they've seen but what about how they got there?! What about what it felt like to be a beginner?!
Being a beginner can be overwhelming and scary, and also FUN AF! Tune in as we throw it back and reflect on what being a beginner has looked like (and currently looks) for us!
Was there ever a time when you were afraid to be a beginner?! How did you deal with those feels?! We'd love to hear about it, Boo Crew! Sliiide into the DMs on the IG machine @igotyouboopod OR electronic mail us at [email protected]!
058: Communication Is Key
I Got You, Boo!
06/02/22 • 76 min
We hear it all the time, communication is the most important thing in relationships. However, we all communicate differently!
This week, we communicate about our communication. We discuss our differing styles of communication, how we communicate with each other in our own relationship, as well as how we've learned a lot in order to better communicate in other relationships in our lives!
Enneagram numbers are at play when it comes to this too - for good and for grace. We say grace because we can use those “default settings” (that's what we're choosing to call ‘em) as things to be aware. This allows us to act and react more effectively instead of having them serve as barriers that hold us back from cultivating healthier relationships.
How has self exploration helped the way you communicate with loved ones? Have you hesitated this type of self work? LET US KNOW, BOO CREW! Communicate with us *wink wink* by sliiiiding into those DMs or emailing us at [email protected]!

Mallon has been encouraging us to do an episode like this for a whiiiile... So we did it. And it was fuuun! So fun, in fact, that we're thinking of make it more of a regular thing. A segment, maybe?! Let us know your thoughts!
Any and all questions are not only welcome but highly encouraged! DM us @igotyouboopod or email us [email protected]
055: Chaotic Current Events
I Got You, Boo!
05/12/22 • 64 min
The world has been heavy recently; can we all collectively agree?
This week, we unpack thoughts and feels of Kim K at the MET. Along with the ripple effect of her toxic her actions in preparation for the event, and and her responses in interviews while she was there.
We take a quick left to the Roe v Wade overturn leak in the US Supreme Court. Our initial thoughts, what it means for women and marginalized communities and what we can possibly do to help!
Recording this episode, we understand that we aren't political professionals , nor do we claim to fully understand or have all the answers. But we ARE two women navigating this heavy ? with you all and wanted to create a safe, respectful space for you to sit at our table and hopefully help release some of the weight you may be carrying on your shoulders.
As always, we're so grateful you're here sharing your time and energy with us in this beautiful (and ever growing) community!
054: Breaking Free From Food with Jessi Jean
I Got You, Boo!
05/05/22 • 62 min
Jessi Jean is a food freedom coach. She helps women overcome their unhealthy relationship with food; she is also the host of the Dear Body Podcast!
She brings that big sis energy! You know the kind. The tough love, the gentle nudge of wisdom, the telling you what you need to hear type vibe. And we're so happy to be able to bring that to YOU, Boo Crew! Her message and mission is v much what the younger version of ourselves needed to hear.
Jessi opens up about her own path to food freedom, shares some of her best practices, and shows us that you truly can reach a place where you no longer associate your worth with what your body looks like. Powerful stuff.
Lean into this greatness with us and let us know what tips and takeaways you have after tuning in!
