This week episode, DJ Bugsy sat down with hip-hop legend Tracey Lee. We started this interview discussing the beginning of his music career, when he meet Deric D-Dot Angelettie and Marc Pitts at Howard University. He said being a young artist he signed a bad deal with Bystrom/Universal Records due to the lack of experience with recording contracts. Moreover, we also mentioned his experience working with the late great Notorious B.I.G. on the classic song "Keep Your Hands High." He explained why Biggie was so crafty & gifted as a MC. Tracey Lee explained why he left the music business to pursue a career in law. He is the first former rap artist to obtain Juris Doctorate Degree. Lastly, Tracey Lee mentioned his issue with rapper Norega from the Drink Champs podcast. He stated Noreaga indicated that Tracey Lee was bodied by Biggie on his own song. Tracey believes he held his own on the classic Biggie collaboration.
