Why was Steve Jobs so successful? He is a legendary figure in technology and innovation. He was the founder of Apple, he was famously fired, and went on to found Next Computers and then came back as CEO of Apple in 1997. He's widely considered to be one of the most successful innovators of all time. Depending on the day Apple is still often the most valuable company in the world. Throughout the history of Apple, he's been there for major three big changes: the arrival of the PC and the graphical user interface, the iPod and portable music devices., and then of course, the iPhone, and its cousin, the iPad. But he also brought Pixar to life. He bought the company but helped to make it a success. Apple also bought Next. So in a way Apple is Next, at its core, its foundation of the Macintosh operating system is actually a Next computer. So why was Steve Jobs so successful?
