Have you ever noticed the words you use to talk about yourself or the things that you want in life? They are more often than not, negative. There might be a few positive things but generally, we are constantly talking about what we don't want.
If we took the time to become aware of how we speak, we would all find that negative connotations are creating the lives we live. Why do we do this? Why not state the outcome of what we want instead of saying what we don't want?
Welcome to How To Be Less Of An Asshole, a channel where self-awareness is the only answer to our problems. This podcast aims to look at human behaviour through the lens of history to better understand how we've become the people we are today, with hopes of inspiring you to do this same.

Why Are We Attracted To Things That Make Us Feel Bad?
Time is such a precious commodity but every single day we give our time to things that we don't actually want to be doing. Things that we have repeatedly told ourselves we don't want to be doing and then a new day comes, and we do it again!
In this episode, we will talk about understanding why we keep saying yes to things that make us feel bad. Saying yes to things that we've told ourselves we want to say no to but we keep repeating the same mistake over and over.

The Conversations We Have With Ourselves
Why are there voices in our minds constantly arguing with each other? Are you even willing to admit that you do this? Doing so can be truly liberating because it's the only way to quiet the voices so you can be with yourself.
In this episode, we talk with our friend Emma about who these people are and how it's totally normal to admit that you have voices that won't be quiet inside your head.
