Initial reports ruled his death as drowning, but subsequent autopsies revealed signs of sexual assault and asphyxiation, including petechial hemorrhaging and severe injuries to his rectum. Witnesses claimed Barrymore applied cocaine to Lubbock’s gums, and conflicting statements fueled suspicions. Multiple inquiries and arrests failed to yield convictions, leaving the case unsolved...
