A common question that is raised to therapists is: If you haven't been through x (death of a spouse, addiction, chronic illness, etc.) how can you help me? How can you relate to me? How can you truly understand what I'm experiencing.
In this episode, I go through some pros and cons of helping individuals who are dealing with something you've experienced.
