Haunted Camp Lejeune

On the eastern part of North Carolina in a small city of Jacksonville is a military base called Camp Lejeune. One of the biggest bases on the east coast, and officially been voted "The Most Haunted City In North Carolina" by a paranormal poll taken by a website called Treetopia. They took paranormal experience stories and managed to create a 50 state list with one city voted Most Haunted in each state. If you ask different people some agree with this chart and others do not but one thing we can attest to is that Camp Lejeune is haunted.
Camp Lejeune is a very local spot to us and we have heard crazy experience stories from local people in the area that live on Camp Lejeune and surrounding cities. Come dive into what's happening at Camp Lejeune with us in this episode with encounter stories of marines and family members living one base, urban legends such as the man bear creature living in the words, a black eyed kids encounter story, and apparitions such as the lady in white and the world war 2 marine.
We also dive into lore, and history of the surrounding area and fill the rest of the episode with our own encounter stories, and our own theories of some of the locations around the area.

With it officially being 2022, we thought it would only be right to open the year with another look into prophecies and what people like Nostradamus and Baba Vanga have to say about predictions going into the year 2022. Things such as advancements into AI technology, and virtual reality, extreme weather, and even aliens. Baba Vanga went as far as to predict an alien ship is going to attack Earth this year. We dive deep and analyze these theories and also talk about the trendy tik tok videos you see with people giving exact dates of events claiming that they are time travelers. We also theorize a bit about our own feelings and predictions for 2022.
Our next episode will be diving into North Carolina's most haunted city according to Treetopia's countdown of most haunted city in each state! The state we currently live in got Camp Lejeune which is a military base literally a hop, skip, and jump away from us. We'll dive into stories coming from residents living on base as well as the surrounding areas. Our story about the Black Eyed kids encounter on the episode "The Legend Of The Black Eyed Kids" took place in Camp Lejeune! It's definitely a more spookier episode, and one you don't want to miss.

Welcome to another episode of Hidden In The Shadows and on this week's episode we are diving full force with an episode all about the concept of Poltergeist Haunts! Going into this episode Isaac and I thought we were pretty knowledgeable about what exactly a poltergeist haunt consists of but we were wrong...well...not completely wrong but there was more to this type of haunt then we thought. The actual definition of a poltergeist haunt is a ghost or other supernatural being supposedly responsible for physical disturbances such as loud noises and objects thrown around. Even though it's a vague definition there is so much more to this type of haunt. In this episode we discuss theories, our own personal experiences, important cases such as the Enfield Poltergeist (which was loosely conceptualized in the Conjuring 2 movie) and how the legend of the Bell Witch was technically a poltergeist case. We dive into the theories behind how these haunts start, what happens during and the after resolution! Join us as we talk all about poltergeist haunts!
